Shaft recommendations for fairway woods

So I picked up a Callaway Smok Max 3 wood because it was insanely cheap. I hit it a couple times and was immediately sold. Now I'm thinking the shaft isn't right for me. I got the triple diamond driver afterwards and I'm bombing it. Right now in my 3 wood I have the Tensei stock shaft which I have in my hybrids. In my driver I have the Project X HZRDUS Smoke Blue in a 5.5. I need something that has a lower penetrating ball flight. Can someone guide me to something I should try?
